Some things start with a plan. Others start with a pivot.

Mine started with a health scare in 2022 that forced me to step back from my career as a locksmith and figure out what came next. I wasn't sure what that looked like yet — but I knew I needed to keep making things. Creating has always been how I think, how I decompress, how I feel like myself.

So I picked up a hobby laser, and I was hooked immediately.

That laser led me down a path I never expected: wood jewelry. Not the rough, flimsy kind you've probably seen at craft fairs — the stuff made from thin plywood with unfinished edges and no real character. I knew wood could do better than that. I had years of hands-on experience working with my hands, and I started pulling those skills into a completely new space. Real hardwoods. Smooth finishes. Pieces that actually felt like something when you held them.

What started as a creative outlet became 4 Arrows Creations, launched in March 2022.

Building my own company has been a dream of mine for a long time. Some dreams just need the right moment to start moving. This one needed a forced pause, a new tool, and a stubborn belief that handcrafted things deserve better than mass production.

And the name? That one came naturally. Our last name is Posteraro — and if you say "aro" out loud, it sounds like "arrow." We're a family of four — me, my incredible wife Sarah (17 years married, and she still puts up with sawdust everywhere), our energetic 12-year-old son, and our wildly sassy 7-year-old daughter. 4 Arrows. It clicked, and it stuck.

Every piece we make carries a little bit of all of that — the pivot, the craft, the family, the love of real materials done right.
